Leadership by example

Do you want to lead? Then remember: people don’t follow who talks the talk, but who walks the walk.
As a leader, you can ask for commitment, but if you’re not the first to show it, your request will ring hollow. You can preach collaboration, but if you’re not willing to listen and step in yourself, your words will sound like rhetoric. If you ask for openness, be the first to share doubts and vulnerabilities.
#Leadership is not a title nor a privilege: it’s the responsibility to embody the behaviors you want to see in your team.
Leading by example doesn’t mean being perfect. It means being consistent, day after day, in the small daily choices. That’s where #trust is built — and where the true influence of a leader begins.
I strongly believe this is one of the true secrets to success, both in professional and in personal life.
And you? What’s the smallest — yet most meaningful — gesture by which a leader has truly inspired you?
